I was not a big fan (though I arguably was in 1984 at age 11), but I find myself unexpectedly saddened by Michael Jackson's death. His life was a Shakespearean tragedy, the immensity of his talent matched only by the monstrousness of his personal demons.
But with the distance we now have from him, take a moment and watch this.
Every move beautifully choreagraphed and perfectly executed.
All while singing.
Live on stage.
Flawlessly.
The man was a genius.
And the world is a poorer place without what he might have been.
