Dawn Patrol: July 25, 2009

I jinxed myself with all of the easy baby talk. Abby had a rough day yesterday, and at one point she got very mad at me. The reason is simple. She missed her mid-morning nap, or more precisely, I was unable to get her to sleep for her mid-morning nap. So, she was a Crabpot McFussypants for the whole rest of the day.

On a serious note, when she's upset, she refuses to eat. This further exacerbates the problem because being hungry also makes her upset. It was difficult to get her to eat regularly all afternoon and evening.

She had me pretty haggard by the time Mommy got home. In fact, I actually wanted to do the grocery shopping by myself! (Normally all three of us go grocery shopping on Friday nights). Of course, by the time I got back from shopping I missed her again.

She has had a pretty good night sleep, so I expect that she will be in good spirits today. This weekend will bring another milestone in her life. We are going to take her swimming later today at the Y. I will try to get some pictures, but there's probably a rule against photography in the pool.

I'm sure everyone can imagine how cute this is going to be.
