Dawn Patrol: July 30, 2009

Abby is very easily distracted. And it is an issue when we are trying to feed her. She is basically too impatient to sit and eat until she absolutely has to. The good news is that she absolutely loves to eat sweet potatoes and, I am extrapolating, other solid foods as well. Hopefully, this situation will improve as we change her diet over.

Yesterday was a good one. Abby had a nice long nap in the early afternoon. She was a little fussy in the evening, but Mommy was able to get her down at the right time. Mommy woke her up later in the evening to give her a last bottle. This tactic seems to be working, because she again slept through the whole night.

Abby and her friend decided to change their plans for the day. The daddies had wanted to go work out today and take the girls swimming, but we had all forgotten about the Thursday morning playgroup. We are, therefore, going to the Y tomorrow and the playgroup today.

A slice of life: I've written about Abby's love for the bilabial trill (or raspberry) in the past, but I wanted to emphasize the fact that she still makes the sound quite a bit. She does them at particular times, namely when she is excited or happy to see us.
