Here is what's new with Abby for the last couple of days. She has been very picky about when she eats. Sometimes, when I know she has to be hungry, she refuses to eat. Other times she eats a lot rapidly, but every two minutes or so, she spits the bottle out, fusses and then takes it back and eats for another couple of minutes. This is something that she's never done before. Mommy and I couldn't think of a time when she'd refused the bottle.
She slept a little better last night than she did the night before, but she did wake up early. She was extremely fussy all day yesterday. They actually had to call for me at the Y because she got so upset in the nursery. The nice woman at the Y asked me if she was teething. She thought she might be because of the timbre of her cry. Now, I'm not sure if one can tell such things by the sound of a baby's cry, but it would explain all of Abby's recent issues.
Any advice on how to comfort teething babies would be welcome. Serious advice, OMHO, serious advice.
