Racism in a Philadelphia Suburb

This is pretty egregious.
"I heard this lady, she was like, 'Uh, what are all these black kids doing here?' She's like, 'I'm scared they might do something to my child,'" said camper Dymire Baylor.
So you register your child for a summer day camp, which includes swimming at a nearby pool. On the first trip to the pool, he and all of his friends are thrown out. And he overhears the above comment. What do you tell your child when he gets home? How do you explain this?

The term "racist" is probably mis-used quite a bit, but this sounds like a pretty clear-cut case to me. Check out this excerpt from the statement released by the president of The Valley Swim Club
"There was concern that a lot of kids would change the complexion ... and the atmosphere of the club."
So they agreed to grant the children from a summer day camp access to the pool. Then they actually saw the kids and decided that they didn't really want kids after all.

The stupid, it burns.
